Data analysis is essential to guarantee efficient logistics processes with an optimum cost, however, data extraction, transformation and validation is complex and time consuming to perform. On the business side, this means that, decisive insights, analysis and comparisons aren’t readily available as often as desirable to support decision making on a daily basis.​

Motivation: development of a program to collect and centralize all logistics data from different databases to enable quick and easy analysis of the logistics process, i.e.: planned data versus actual data → IST versus SOLL.
